As the first few months of 2011 come to a close I see a great INCREASE in BANK FORECLOSURES.  While the added business to the appraiser is a much welcome sight we wish it was not at the expense of the neighborhoods we love to work in.  After 3 or 4 homes go through this process the home values fall faster and faster.  For the investor ready to get into the rental business better start buying up the houses because the values cant get much better.  If your a homeowner and you see your neighborhood values falling quickly just remember.  You like where you live so just pay off your mortgage and hunker down and start a neighborhood watch program.  It will help to keep your neighborhood reputation on the high side. If you have any questions or need an appraisal just email me at kengreen@knology.net or look me up on facebook.
